TripApprove’s ‘Fit to Travel’ form in action

With Moderna, Pfizer and Oxford-AstraZeneca all announcing highly promising vaccine results, it’s no surprise that the focus has firmly turned to when and how we will be getting back into international travel.

Qantas’ statement that passengers will need to show proof of a coronavirus vaccine before they are allowed to fly internationally is responsible and not unexpected, given the hardline stance Australian Federal and State governments have taken to control the virus.

Off the back of these developments, we are excited to announce that we have just released an optional “Fit to Travel” form that allows travellers to provide customer-driven declarations, as defined by your organisation. This also includes travellers attaching proof they have received a Covid-19 vaccination.

Trip Approve’s goal is always to make it easy for organisations to manage compliance and risk, especially as the goalposts for travel keep moving.

How it works

When a traveller confirms their trip, they will receive a confirmation email, directing them to confirm their trip details and complete the “Fit to Travel” declaration.

Clicking on “Confirm Trip” automatically directs the user to an online form, where they will need to submit declarations, as defined by your organisation.

This includes the option to force travellers to upload a medical certificate declaring they have been vaccinated against Covid-19. Once uploaded, the traveller’s profile is updated so the certificate can be used again and again, reducing the need to resubmit details every trip.

There is no doubt the way we manage corporate travel movements is going to change. We also know that keeping your people safe will remain a top priority for all organisations.
